Well guys, for the past two weeks I've been RPing with you guys and having a wonderful time. But I'd like to introduce myself as I am in Reality.
Hi, I'm Marissa. I'm 19 years old and I live in an undisclosed location near the Canadian border. So close in fact I've been accused of having a Canadian accent by Canadian natives. Oh nelly!
I'm a second year college student studying Creative Writing and Women's studies at an undisclosed location also near the canadian border, which leads to lots of weekend trips(As we all know, the drinking age in Canada is 19 ;D). Currently I'm battling double standards and line breaks in poetry while living on Hummus and cheese sticks.
Currently I'm trying to protect Huckleberry Finn from being edited for historical sake, which means hoarding original copies of Huckleberry Finn in my room and preparing for the day when the original copies will no longer be printed. Not saying I'm proud of hoarding, but literature needs to be protected. This might turn into a personal obsession for me. I hope not. When I graduate college, my ideal plan would be to live in Portland and write in a cafe all day but reality says I have to get a job. So I'm thinking of going into publishing as an editor for other writers.
I enjoy the Beatles, reading, silly things, and knitting. And I of course enjoy Harry Potter. George Harrison is my favorite Beatle. Zen and the art of knitting is my favorite book, and my favorite silly thing is building snowmen outside of professor's windows during finals week so students have something to laugh at while taking their finals.
My favorite movie is Beauty and the Best. The symbolism in the movie is really amazing now that I watch it as an adult.
There's very few things I dislike but I'll say them. I dislike Rude people, editing history, and sexist or racist comments that are allowed in our society.
Harry Potter Related Stuff: My house is Hufflepuff, my patronus is a cat, and my boggart is Kathy Bates in Misery Seriously, she scared the poo out of me.
