Astoria is like most slytherins you meet. Shes got the classic slytherin aditude. She thinks shes better then most, prettier, and more talented. She can be a bit full of herself but if your able to convince her that your worthy of her time she can be a completely different person. She can be nice, kind sweet and even a litttle bit funny. She has a nack for being sarcastic. It can be really easy to make her laugh and get a smile out of her. Its rare that she associates with people that aren't in her house but if you manage to make an impression she will. Shes not afraid to tell someone how she feels and doesn't care if it hurts. She tends to be very open and honest about most things unless she doesn't wanna tell you about them. She is really a daddies girl and knows she could get anything she want from him with a snap of her fingers.

Astoria can be quite cunning and evil when she wants to be. She has been known for getting first years to do her dirty work for her when she doesn't want to be directly involved in a situation. Most of the time Astoria can be known as a fun entergetic person. She loves to go off and do crazy things, for example jumping into the black lake in the middle of winter in nothing but her knickers for a couple gallons. She doesn't back down from challenges. Shes one of those types who can be easily bribed. If you offer her a sugar quill or lollipop she'll probably do anything for you. Astoria is known for getting what she wants when she wants it and she doesn't like it when that doesn't happen.

Astoria was born Katherine and William as a result of an affair her father was having. It wasn't till Astoria was four that they had actually gotten together, and her father becoming an important role in her life. He had a daughter named Daphne, being three years her elder, from her previous marriage. From the start Astoria was always a daddies girl even with Daphne being around. Astoria could get what she wanted with a bat of her eye lashes. She never really got along with her elder sister though, most of the time just ignoring her to avoid confrentation. She didn't see her as anything more then her half sister, the one who kept her daddy from her in the early years of her childhood. Those feelings of discust wore off as time went on and Astoria eventually hand a longing to get to know her sister but never put the effort into it. She was perfectly happy with acting like the only child and being the center of her mother and fathers attention.

When she got her letter to Hogwarts she was thrilled. Daphne had already been going for two years, leaving Astoria stuck at home and listening to the stories of the magical school over the holidays. She didn't mind being at home with her mother though. While her sister was gone she was put into art and music classes to help the time go by easier. Astoria was sorted into Slytherin when coming to the school, making both her mother and father very proud. She fit in easily with the house but mostly tried to hang around her sisters group of friends. Astoria always fit in better with the older crowd then students her own age. Now in her fourth year she plans on making some changes in her life. For one she is planning on trying to connect with Daphne despite their differences.

Astoria Malory Greengrass pulled her hair from her pony tail as she walked down the hall, the heels of her boots clicking on the stone floor with every step. It was silent for the most part, all except the distant sound of birds from the open window. It wasnt usual that astoria would come down these halways after school hours but since the library had been over crowded with not a single slytherin in sight this seemed to be the only place she could find to study. She had already been risking her family's reputation by talking to people who weren't of her social status, but there was no way she would lower herself to studying with the likes of them. Normally she would have went to Daphne and studyed with her but lately she was too intrested In Nate to deal with Tori. She fluffed her short wavy blond hair out as she walked, her messanger back bouncing against her legs. She knew that the defense against the dark arts class room would be empty at this time of day... The perfect place to study. She could see the classroom up ahead on her right. She quickened her pace, reaching it quickly. Her elegant hand reached out the grasp the door handle, turning it so she was able to push the door open. It opened with a creak at which Tori held her breath. She knew it was against the rules to be in a class room with out permission.

When the silence was continued she quickly slipped into the class room, leaving the door slightly ajar. The room was dark for the most part except for the dim light of the setting sun from the window. She reached down to pull her wand from her boot in order to light a few candles. The room was then lit by the light of the flickering candles. Astoria set her bag upon one of the desk top and then began to dig through it for her home work materials. Charms book, potions bool, parchment, quill, and ink. She pulled the items from the bag one at a time and laid them down quietly. She pulled out the bench, it scrapped slightly against the stone floor as she did, and sat down, pulling her charms book towards her. Opening to the correct page she imedietly reached for her quill, dipped it in the ink and began to scribble her essay across the partchment. Her elegant writting took up half the page by the time one of the candles blew out. Astoria sat up straight, frozen. At the sound of footsteps in the hall she quickly flew off the bench and under the table, holding her breath. She wasn't going to let herself get in trouble for doing homework of all things. She heard the other person enter the room and closed her eyes tightly, scared to be caught.
