Nymphadora was born in 1973 to Andromeda and Ted Tonks. She had a very loving and normal childhood, even with a war going on. Though her parents were never actively in the Order of the Phoenix, thier house was a safe haven for those who were, so growing up, Tonks had a plethora of big 'brothers and sisters' to mind her. She all but grew up with Sirius, who spent at least a week every summer with them ,so working with him in the Order is no big deal.
When she found out exactly about her mother's side oif the family, ie: why she never met them, she was 13, and thgen and there she vowed to erradicate pure-blood mania and racism. She was sorted into Hufflepuff at Hogwarts, and joined the Order stragt out of school.
