Overall appearance: Liam is an attractive young man, his features rough due to the life he leads. His golden brown hair is typically unkempt, and his normally blue eyes darken when he is experiencing particular emotions. He stands at 6"1 and has a lean build, and chiselled looks. He usually dresses in jeans and shirts that looked like they haven't been washed for days - and they probably haven't. Overally, Liam doesn't bother with his appearance. His token items that are always with him are a packet of cigarettes and a small book he writes in.

[/size]Likes: Reading, writing, transfiguration, doing something in solitude, succeeding without the help of others, Quidditch, spending his time in Knockturn Alley, one night stands, fighting, arguing. He is a rather reckless person.
Dislikes: Having to accept help, Arianna's nagging, the Ministry of Magic, heart-to-heart talks, his father, keeping his attitude in check, being told what to do, optimistic people.
Strengths: Duelling, working on his own, fighting, writing.
Weaknesses: Bitterness, he lives with a lot of guilt and regret, he channels his emotions through fights, meaningless sex etc.
Overall Personality: The best words to describe Liam is bitter, reckless and brooding. He can be selfless when need be, especially when it comes to his siblings but that part of his personality is buried deep down. After having a hard family life, Liam prefers to keep his distance, occasionally asking Arianne how their siblings are doing. Despite his deep fear about not wanting to end up like his father, Liam still works as a barman in the Dragon's Lair. He's a masochist in a way that he watches people like his father get drunk every night, and he serves them their poison. But everyone needs to make a living.
Yes, he helped raise Makayla and James but he tends to keep his distance. No one really knows him in a deep level. Only Arianne understands his pain when it comes to their father, because she experienced it herself. When Liam leaves them alone to live his broken life, he leaves Arianne to look after the other two. While he appreciates it, he can't help but get infuriated by Arianne's general personality. Like with his sister, Liam has a short fuse and a low tolerance for others. That's why he normally gets into fights instead of breaking them, like a good barman. It's a wonder why his boss still doesn't fire him but apparently, Liam draws the girls into his bar.
Liam is extremely careless, with himself and others. He doesn't regard others' feelings before he says something and always ends up hurting the other person. He wakes up, not knowing what he did last night, sometimes where he was. Often, he had to ask Arianne for help, albeit extremely reluctantly. He is prepared to take any girl to bed, so long as they make him temporarily forget about his problems.

Charlotte James (mother), divorcee and muggle. Liam shares a close relationship with her mother, being worried about her more than anyone in the family.
Arianne Fox (sister): Liam's relationship with his sister is difficult to pin-point. He appreciates everything she's done for him and their siblings, but most days, he finds her annoying.
Makayla Fox (sister): Liam is extremely protective of Makayla, often being the one to interrogate boyfriends and such. However, while Arianne is more the responsible one, Liam treats her as if she's the same age as him.
James Fox (brother): He doesn't have much in common with James but he tries to look out for him. Emphasise on try.
Pets: None.
Residence: In Knockturn Alley, a tiny apartment situated above the Dragon's Lair.
History: Liam Daniel Fox is the eldest child of Derek Fox and Charlotte James. He has three younger siblings, two he had to raise with his sister, Arianne.
He had a tough family life, thanks to his father. After losing his job, Derek Fox slowly went into a downward spiral, getting addicted to alcohol and drugs. He argued and yelled at Charlotte and at times, with Liam. It was only until Derek slapped Charlotte and he collapsed that Liam realized how bad it had got. A month later, Charlotte divorced him. That is one of the main reasons why Liam looked forward to the school year; so he could leave all this mess behind him.
He had wanted nothing to do with his father ever since.
In Hogwarts, he was a Ravenclaw and a rather popular one at that. He exceeded in his lessons, and in Quidditch and was loved by the girls because of his 'brooding quality'. Of course, he took advantage of that. Although he had many friends, he wasn't close with anyone. He refused to reveal too much about his life and barely acknowledged Arianne in school.
After graduating, Liam was meant to get a job in the Daily Prophet but after getting into a drunken fight with the editor in chief, his placement was terminated. He started working in The Dragon's Lair and soon enough, bought the apartment upstairs. His life now contrasted to his life in Hogwarts. He was far from satisfied but if it kept people away, then so be it.
And his fear of slowly turning into his father is slowly coming true.
