Hair: Brown
Height: Five Foot, Eleven Inches
Weight: 160 lbs
Distinguishing Features(if any): Scar running down his back
Play-by:Anthony Green
Overall appearance: Graced with the brown shaggy hair that occasionally covers the bright blue eyes that his father left him and the fair white skin and bone structure from his mother that gives him a full face he is all that remains of his parent’s image. Tall Rollo stands only a shade underneath 6 foot at 5`11 which fits the rest of his lanky form well. His movements and gestures jerky and awkward Rollo fits perfectly under the title of a teenager. While lanky Rollo has managed to gain some muscle but nothing of any serious definition. His body is plain and lacks things like piercings and tattoos simply because he doesn’t think they’re his style at all. The only distinguishable mark is a scar running down his back that he received the year before he went to Hogwarts when he fell down one particularly large tree and cut his back rather deeply on a branch.
Usually seen in plain clothing or the occasional band tee when it comes to his upper body, he sticks mostly to jeans also and will throw on shorts when he feels the weather suits the matter for his lower half. The clothes usually are also not thrown on with much care just put on any which way inside out or outside in and for the most part Rollo is pretty happy with his untidiness. On occasion he will wear glasses but usually only for reading or other such purposes and they are not really needed but just for show. The main problem over all with his dress is that even though he owns robes he rarely wears them preferring the comfort that his normal clothes give him rather than the stuffy one his robes provide.

Patronus: happiest Panther, Memory: Rollo’s memory is that of finally being adopted. The overwhelming joy of finally feeling like he had a family again powers his patronus even if the joy was hasty and could have been ill-founded.
Boggart: Being trapped inside an ever moving crowd and being unable to make his way out of it. It’s not that he’s claustrophobic or anything just that he hates crowds that much.
Dementor: Rollo’s worst memory is that of his old house in Montauk on the day of his parent’s death. Having to rewatch, let alone think about, one of his more painful memories is something that Rollo never wants to do again. Being lead from his house after being told his parents were dead is literally the last thing he wants to think about let alone see.
Amortentia: Summer Rain, Steel, Hot Chocolate.

Overall Personality: Rollo is a mixed bag to say the least. Most of the time Rollo is shy and removed from most of his surroundings. Content to just pass through life on his own steam Rollo spends most of his time avoiding others. Besides bumping into students in between classes or in the halls at night are the only time Rollo bothers to allow himself to even speak with anyone. These situations are usually handled with mumbled words and hurried glances though before he runs in the opposite direction.
While most would suggest that this problem could be fixed with simple social interaction Rollo personally thinks that this is impossible. The most obvious reason being that Rollo is too blunt for his own good. No one seems to take too kindly to someone they don’t know being as honest as he is about everything. Simple questions are turned into verbal assaults with Rollo and by no intention of his own. Personally Rollo can’t grasp why people wouldn’t want him to be honest with them. His brutal honesty does serve him well from time to time but for the most part it just seems to get him in more trouble than he’d like.
This trouble is almost anyone can get the best of Rollo. When put in the right situation anyone can bait him into losing his cool and using harsher raised tones that not even he thought himself capable of. While this has never yet lead to a fight Rollo would be amiss to even think that this couldn’t happen. Frankly the fact that it hasn’t yet is amazing. Rollo can’t stand seeing others picked on which has been responsible for such a mood more often than not. Otherwise why would Rollo bother with such people when he barely bothers with the ones he’d probably like?
Despite all this though Rollo knows how to keep a secret. It isn't in him to spread gossip let alone talk about even the most trivial things that are mentioned to him in conversation. Some may call this just being anti-social for the sake of being anti-social but Rollo prefers to think that people wouldn't tell anyone else anything he had told them. It is a naive type of trust but it's better than no trust at all as far as Rollo is concerned.

STEP MOTHER: Matilda Pitcher, Obliviator, 33, half-blood
Pets:Cat-Maddyson
Residence: New Forest, U.K.
History: Rollo Liam Bonette was born on a rather clear April day in Montauk to Francesca and Godfrey Bonette. The parents themselves were in fact high school sweet hearts who both fresh out of college were reaching for the stars. Godfrey worked as a music teacher curbing his dreams of the road and fame to provide for his family. His mother Francesca though worked still as a manager at a department store while she tried to get a job with law firm. All this though, like most of the joy in Rollo’s life, would come to an astounding halt the year he turned five.
Shortly after Christmas that year Rollo’s father took Francesca to a job interview at a legal firm. Francesca would go on to get the job kissing Godfrey in the offices lobby in which he waited. It would be their last. Francesca and Godfrey Bonette died with each other hands clasped as the elevator plummeted eighty floors. Rollo would find out about this and never forget the twenty eighth of December again. Rollo shortly after this would in fact be moved to an orphanage.
The absence of a godparent along with any living relatives of his parents (It seems the Bonettes were destined to die in accidents as Godfrey’s parents passed in a car crash driving home from their wedding. Consequently the Kensrues who were Francesca’s parents were in the same car.) Rollo found himself bouncing from orphanage to orphanage at the tender age of five. Rollo developed the shy and social awkwardness that would define a majority of his years until he himself in fact reached Hogwarts. It was during this time that Rollo, unbeknownst to himself, showed his first inkling of magic ability. It was small things locking doors behind him when he had no key or had not turned the lock or other such simple things.
Rollo though did manage to get adopted though despite picking up some rather bad habits. The first being smoking, how a the eight year old Rollo was getting cigarettes is beyond me, but thankfully it was a habit he would not mimic when he grew older. His only remaining possessions after leaving his original home were in fact his guitar, a spare few clothes, and his cat Maddyson. The latter of his habits was in fact spending his nights on the roof of the orphanage playing away on the instrument his father had given him just before his death. While his first year at the orphanage during his time spent on the roof was in fact marred with crying soon after he turned seven this would stop. Rollo Bonette missed and needed a home.
While it was not a true home Rollo would in fact manage to find one or more so it found him. On a trip to the states his soon to be step parents to be happened to visit the orphanage in which he resided with a friend and were so intrigued by his eyes and actions adopted him. They attributed the reason behind this being that he seemed in need of desperate help and while they hadn’t planned on adopting a child they could simply not leave him here. With that Rollo Bonette packed his things residing in a friend Hooper’s house until his passport was cleared. Rollo now eight year olds was finally finding a new home.
While Rollo adjusted to England he discovered that his new parents were in fact magic. Matilda and Derrick were a full-fledged witch and wizard. While Rollo had known of them due to the events in recent years the fact that his new parents were magical folk was a bit shocking at first. No one could replace his parents but Matilda and Derrick would come close and while he would never go as far as calling them mom and dad Rollo would in fact care for them as if they were by the time he was thirteen. Despite their extensive travel schedule they allowed Rollo to stay at home and upon his request allowed him to take a citizenship test which granted him dual citizenship between the U.S. and the U.K.
Upon turning eleven Rollo was enrolled in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry just as his step parents had been. Sorted into the house of Hufflepuff he would not immediately find the family and social group it offered. Not that he would have made it easy if he had gone looking for it. As it was Rollo had gone out of his ways to keep himself even more undercover. The fear and anxiety that came with entering the school had prompted the boy to do something rash in which he took on his step-parent’s last name. While they saw this as a sign of affection and him beginning to accept them as his family, that was hardly the case. Rollo had done it simply to avoid awkward conversations about why his surname was different than that of his supposed parents.
Rollo’s days at Hogwarts though have been spent on tearing through the library and avoiding contact with others at all costs although this hasn’t stopped him from letting one or two people in. While he has afforded himself this small social circle he has focused more on his studies and excelled in the classroom as a result. While not top of his year he has no urge to attain such notoriety seeing as its more trouble than it’s worth in his opinion. No one knows the truth about his parents and he has no urge to tell them anytime soon. While Rollo does enjoy his small social circle it isn’t something that he came into gradually but was more so forced upon him due to living in close quarters and his newly earned Prefect badge he. He still very much so deals with his social anxiety and finds it best to speak only as much as is required of him in any given conversation.
Despite the excitement in recent years Rollo has avoided it all to the best of his ability. He has no aspirations to get wrapped up in things that doesn’t concern him immediately and prefers to think he is far too normal to be involved in any type of adventure like those that the famous Harry Potter and his friends are. Rollo doesn’t want adventure he just wants to make it out of Hogwarts in one piece and without anyone finding out more about him than he’d like them to.
In the midst of his Fifth Year Rollo just wants to figure out what he wants to do for a living and maybe tackle one or two of his other social flaws. Although the latter is something that seems neigh impossible it’s something he wants to do because he’ll have to interact with people soon enough once he does leave Hogwarts and seeks whichever career he decides on.

All things considered Rollo Hooper despised Hogsmeade. It was as if someone had placed it there to spite him. While he knew that this was hardly the case it seemed like it on days like today. It was the perfect day to spend alone in the castle but instead he had to go down there and mingle with all those people. Not because he wanted to or was even being told to by the school. To a certain extent if it had been part of his prefect duties he would be able to swallow it. His step-parents though had evidently sent him some sort of package and instead of just sending it to the school they had decided to send it to the post office located in Hogsmeade. Rollo was very undecided on how he should take this action. There had to be some ulterior motive here. While he could think of several that his step-parents had two stuck out like sore thumbs. The first was probably the least likely. They did know how much he hated attention drawn to him and a large package received in the Great Hall was sure to pry a few wandering eyes. While it would have been thoughtful Rollo doubted that this was the case.
What was more likely was that they wanted the opposite of that. They knew how crowded it got between the students, the tourists, and the locals he was sure to end up talking to someone besides the postman at some point. It was underhanded but for whatever reason they wanted him to have friends. He didn’t need them or for that matter want them. Still he’d humor them. He’d pick the package up and go get the package. They had raised him so this was the least he could do. It wasn’t as if he was just going to leave it there anyway that’d be rude. Besides if he did this one thing then hopefully they’d never try it again or at least wouldn’t think to do so before he graduated. Actually he was surprised that this hadn’t happened sooner. There were very few constants in Rollo’s life but three questions when he arrived home for holidays were always asked. Whether or not he had a girlfriend, if he’d made any friends, and if they’d care to come to the house. Rollo didn’t lie to them and told them the truth. No, not really, and he’d ask them but doubted they’d want to.
Rollo liked his solitude during holidays. At home he didn’t have to fight to find empty rooms or places where he could just sit and think for a while. He was at peace and that was all that he wanted. Just some peace and quiet. The kind he couldn’t get at Hogwarts because people took some bizarre pleasure in interrupting him when he was by himself. The only thing more awkward than the forced conversations were when two students managed to fall into a room that he was in while they were snogging. If he was lucky they’d notice if him. If he wasn’t lucky he’d immediately felt like some type of voyeur and was forced to leave the room on his own movement which took quite some time if only so he didn’t attract attention to himself. This was his life though. Quiet, awkward, and anti-social, it wasn’t much but it got him by alright. He enjoyed it alright which was more than he could probably say for some other people who were content in wallowing in their own misery which was something he didn’t personally understand.
What was the point of dwelling on the bad things? It didn’t make them any better and if anything it tended to make them worse. It was why as he pulled on his school robes and started preparing to head down into the masses Rollo didn’t think about what lay ahead. He just thought about what the package might contain. Hopefully it’d be new socks seeing as he had failed to obtain on his last trip to the village. With a sigh Rollo exited his Common Room though and merged into the flow of traffic in the halls. It wasn’t pleasant, hell it was anything but that, and as his body was pressed against other students he couldn’t help but wonder just why he had bothered with the school robes today. It was idiotic and they were so bloody uncomfortable. Letting out another sigh Rollo kept it all under wraps and made his way out of the stifling crowd and on to the grounds. He wasn’t waiting for anyone or hanging around in hopes of meeting up with anyone so he didn’t need to be in the middle of that…whatever the hell you wanted to call it. Running his hand through his hair Rollo felt fairly confident that he may get out of this alive as he made his way down to the village. That was of course until there was a tap on his shoulder.
Rollo Hooper didn’t like to be touched. He didn’t care if it was as much as a poke but he despised nothing more than other people touching him. He had a comfort zone and that comfort zone was about six feet wide. He could excuse accidents seeing as he caused his fair share of them but otherwise he didn’t humor being touched often. As he turned around to face whoever had presumed that touching him was a good idea he found himself barraged by the girl’s words. Of course he had no bloody idea who she was and couldn’t help but find the face she was making faintly ridiculous. Quirking a brow Rollo felt the worlds flowing from his mouth before he could stop them, “Well uh first who are you exactly? Secondly, and more importantly, how do you know you want me of all people to read that to or for that matter for you if you don’t even know what it’s about? What if it’s some terrible secret? I really prefer not to be privy to those.” Rollo’s whispered tones would be the death of him and he knew it. He couldn’t control himself though in this case. They were questions that he felt needed answered before he actually did anything. He wouldn’t mind reading the letter he was just going to make this girl, whoever she was, work for it.
