Weight: 145pounds
Distinguishing Features(if any): tattoos, birthmarks, etc None
Play-by: Jesse Mccartney
Overall appearance: At a standing height of five foot seven Alecks is thin and lightly built with very little defined muscle. He has almost no facial hair and has naturally long blonde hair that lies messily, however it is obvious that quite some time and money is spent maintaining this seemingly “casual look”. In his own opinion the most interesting and noticeable feature, and his personal favourite is his eyes. They are a misty sky blue that seem to reflect almost everything and which compliment his pale complexion and light hair. His eyes are very emotional, often expressing his feelings of frustration or sorrow even when he is trying to avoid his emotions showing. During the summer months of school Alecks can be found wearing the Hogwarts prescribed uniform, which for him includes a long black cloak with the Slytherin house coat of arms stitched into the chest, black shoes and a pointed wizards hat, all of which he wears with pride. In winter he generally wears much the same with a Slytherin cloak and it would be fair to suggest that he prefers this style of clothing over the more casual or muggle clothing expected of a teenager. Outside of school hours Alecks can often be found wearing Jeans (mainly black or blue Kenji) or on occasions three quarter length pants however he never wears any shorter than his knees and a variety of T-shirts. Alecks always wears a small necklace which contains the Bole family crest a present given to him by his father at the beginning of his magical education, a heirloom that's purpose is likely more than just fashionable (Knowing his father).

Patronus: Raccoon - Growing up in an environment where you have everything makes it difficult to appreciate very much. However, the happiest memory Alecks recalls when summoning his patronus relates to being found by his sister after getting lost in a nearby village for hours.
Boggart: Getting attacked, captured and eaten by gigantic venomous spiders.
Dementor: The only time Alecks ever received a detention, he was cleaning the most cob-webbed filled trophy cabinet of the schools awards. As he was sweeping the room out, a spider dropped from the ceiling. However, he was so involved in his task that he failed to even realise what had happened. Once his detention was finished he left the room and went down to the dining hall. The Spider, unused to an audience, took the opportunity to find the softest area of skin, and dig its fangs deep into into his scalp, leaving him in the hospital wing for a number of days, and a lifelong hatred of spiders.
Amortentia: Freshly baked bread, the smell of a hot apple crumble/pie wafting in the breeze, vanilla

Likes: girls, quidditch, music, potions, his family, were girls mentioned at all?, duelling, apple crumble, the smell of freshly baked bread, strong vibrant colours, oh and girls!.
Dislikes: Spiders, Sharks, the concept of fortune telling, Hufflepuffians, the smell of melting plastic, body odor, Summer, children, inconsistent people, gossip, that stupid muggle television, people who attempt to ‘boss him around’, those annoying little tunes that get stuck in your head.
Strengths: Most classes primarily Potions, quick witted, comes from a well-respected bloodline, tactical.
Weaknesses: Divination, physical strength, egotistical, short temper, accident prone, astronomy, vanity.
Overall Personality: Vanity – It is said that vanity is part of being human. “The desire to look ones best” being a common theme for most teenagers. Alecks, like most takes pride in this ritualistic concept, in an attempt to 'always look his best'. Easily spending up to an hour in front of the mirror trying to get a 'messy' casual like hairstyle. He is aware that he is fairly attractive. In addition, Alecks is also a shopaholic. There have been occasions where he has spent hundreds of dollars in a single outing day on casual muggle clothing just because he feels like it.
Egotistical – Alecks's major downfall is his ego. Being born into wealth and a family of powerful people begins to rub off onto you. The syndrome of “my parents are better then yours cause...” was the foundation of his youth and occasionally creeps into conversations where inappropriate. Academically Alecks achieves beyond that of the average sixteen year old. An issue that only further adds to his inflated ego.
Unlike many of his peers, Alecks has always been incredibly driven to perform academically. From his very first year the young Slytherin found himself spending endless hours shut up in the warmth and silence of the library, shuffling through countless books in an attempt to further his knowledge in all his subjects. By far his best, and favourite subjects included Potions (which appears to be somewhat of a family trait) and Transfiguration. His least favourite subject (somewhat ironically) has always been Defence Against the Dark Arts and while performing fairly well in this subject he found many of the spells were difficult to master as they required the caster to maintain a certain mind-frame (generally one that Alecks did not feel like sharing). The one, and ONLY subject Alecks could not stand was divination, which he honestly believed to be the least magical subject and nothing more then guess work. He often recalled the discussions of the “Inner-eye” a concept that is truly ridiculous.

Family: Edward Bole – Father, Elizabeth O’Dorchaide – Mother, Bethany Bole – Older sister
Pets: None
Residence: Cork County, Ireland
History: They say that love is a funny thing, that love can strike anywhere at any time, and when you least expect it... For Edward Bole (now former employee of the ministry of magic and acclaimed alchemist) the truth was not far off that. Edward (an Auror for the Ministry of Magic) received one of the most life changing assignments of his life. He was to infiltrate the Oxford University to investigate one Miss Elizabeth O’Dorchaide, a physician who was lecturing at the university about the possibilities of secret societies hidden within Europe. It could be described as love at first sight. The way this lady spoke, how she presented herself, the theories, and her beauty entranced this notoriously cold hearted man. Within a few short months the two were happily married, and returned to Southern Ireland county where the family lived in the 'seemingly' abandoned Castle Bernard (A family estate passed down through generations.) Only two short years later on the 10th of August two short years later. The two celebrated their first child, a daughter, named Bethany May Bole. This date, also marked his promotion to head of the Aurors Office.
To Edward, Bethany was the perfect child. She was beautiful, both physically and emotionally, intelligent, and most importantly seemed to have a natural talent for any/everything she did. Eventually, she was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where she was sorted into Slytherin and proceeded to carve her name Academically, and at Quidditch. On the eve of the 7th of April two years after the birth of Bethany the two celebrated a second child, Alecks Rupert Bole. Unlike his sister, Alecks seemed to take much of his light hair, and gorgeous eyes from his mother. He too was considered a beautiful and perfect child. He was showered with both affection and gifts from his parents (when they weren't busy working) and spent many hours of his childhood locked away in his mother’s study reading various articles on muggle medicine.
The family lived the best of two worlds. On the one hand their father came from a well-respected, wealthy Irish lineage of wizards, and as such a high ranking ministry official the family was often provided any required services (including escorts, transportation etc). On the other-hand, Elizabeth had retired from the position of lecturer at Oxford University returned to teaching and practising medicine where she worked as the head Surgeon at the Mercy University Hospital. This meant she was quite well known within the Cork County. Yet, while encouraged to partake in both worlds the young Boles were sworn to never speak of magic outside the magical world. Their father, while confident and powerful, feared that magical awareness within muggle communities would have disastrous effects for the wizarding world.
As the oldest of the two Bole’s left to begin their magical education everything began to change around the household. Edward, started to become obsessed with what he referred to as 'the coming war.' He spent hours shut up in his study. By the end of his daughters first year he had taken 'sick leave' from work. Also, the many luxuries the children enjoyed seemed to diminish. Visits to the muggle communities were strictly monitored by Edward, and a guard would be sent at all times. Additionally, private 'security' was hired for Elizabeth – disguised as practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals.
By the end of the Bethany's second year at Hogwarts everything that the family once enjoyed had changed completely. Edward, who had returned to work in an attempt to persuade the Minister for Magic to prepare for what he called the “Second Darkness” was forced to retire. In turn he began spending larger amounts of time working tirelessly to develop counter measures, and protections for his family. All visits to the muggle world were completely forbidden, and Elizabeth was forced to retire. Additionally, using contacts in the Auror office, spells and fortifications were made to protect the castle against any and all potential intruders. Edward, certain that it was only a matter of time before all-hell-broke-loose attempted to withdraw his daughter from Hogwarts – an attempt that was thwarted by both Bethany, and his wife who felt that if there was a war coming they would need all the protection they could get.
Three years later, Alecks was begrudgingly sent off to Hogwarts, where like his older sister he was sorted into Slytherin. He too found an interest in studies excelling academically, with teachers having previously taught his sister, and his sister now looking at being a prefect and head girl there was an expectation for him to perform (at least) as well. For the first year everything regarding the 'coming war' seemed like a distant memory. The only news that was available for students was from the occasional Quibbler and Daily Prophet that students would receive from family members, and most of the 'important' news was missed anyway.
It was in Alecks's fifth year that the world he knew ended. While the initial return of the dark lord and the murder of one Cedric Digory was ignored by the Ministry it was on that day that Alecks realized the world would never be the same. I t was not long before the confusion turned to fear, and with it grew unrest. Within months the school began to shrink. Students turned against each other, many feeling that the power of the ministry could crush any potential unrest with ease… however, how wrong things were turning out to be. Now, one year later much has changed at Hogwarts for both the young Slytherin and the school in general. Many Slytherins have begun discussing with great excitement about the return of the dark lord. Alecks, like many others continues to keep a low profile, hoping to avoid the coming storm…

Roleplay Sample: It was approximately five-thirty as the first beads of sunlight glistened over the hills, casting long dark shadows across the scenery below. The morning was shaping up to be one of the most beautiful winters mornings of the year thus far with only a light layer of snow creating a mystical effect across the grounds of Hogwarts. A light, cool breeze howled silently causing trees to sway in unison (not unlike a dance) and only a few stubborn clouds streaked an otherwise forget-me-not blue sky. And while most others were free of the castle itself as the climbed the tallest mountains in their dreams one student, the young Ravenclaw Alecks, was not. Alecks lay still, his eyes wide and unblinking as he stared aimlessly towards the ceiling of his own four-poster bed. This was common for Alecks, insomnia was single handedly the cause of many sleepless nights, leaving him passing time by staring silently at the oak frame of his bed. Around him were the muffled sounds of deep breathing and snores from the other sixth year male Ravenclaws like an eery yet peaceful melody, with varying pitches and speeds. Sometimes in their sleep his classmates would mutter incoherently, or make a series of strange noises, such as a snort, gurgle or worse. One of the few curses of being at Hogwarts was that privacy was non-existent, with someone somewhere watching or listening to everything you are doing.
With a light sigh, the young blonde propped himself in a semi-upright position, using his elbows as a brace so that he could look around. Although the royal blue curtains reduced visibility both into and out he was still able to tell that the sun was beginning to rise. Pausing for a moment, he licked his dry lips before collapsing back into the bed and closing his eyes. It was hard to explain how he was feeling, on the one hand he was exhausted from sleep deprivation with his eyes burning and his head throbbing violently. Yet, he was also incredibly alert. He could hear the distant sounds of birds chirping outside, the snoring of his fellow classmates and even the quiet ticking of the clock at the far end of the room. Drawing a deep breath of cool air Alecks rubbed his eyes, which ached at the very touch and pulled himself into an upright position. His whole body burned, he was able to feel waves of pain beginning around the proximal limbs before resonating distally. Already he was regretting being convinced to help a friend practice their Quidditch skills the previous day. Pulling the covers back he slipped from his bed with a slight groan and stumbled to his feet. He kicked open his trunk and spent a few moments rustling through the neatly folded clothes before pulling out a fresh set of winter robes and made his way silently towards the bathrooms.
A whole hour later, the young Ravenclaw emerged from bowels of the bathrooms wearing his uniform with pride. Sure, it may have been a Saturday, however he both enjoyed the warmth that they provided and he honestly had no real interest in ruining perfectly good (and expensive) muggle clothing when he could so easily just wear his school uniform. After all, it wasn't like he was trying to impress anyone. Turning, the young Ravenclaw allowed his vanity to peak and examined himself one last time in the large golden framed mirror. Like always, his shoulder length golden hair hung messily, controlled subtly by a strong muggle substance called “GELL”. His once bloodshot sky blue eyes glittered lightly in the early morning sunshine, and while still slightly puffy they no longer expressed his immense sleep deprivation.
Letting his eyes linger for just a moment longer he ran his fingers one last time through his 'casually messy hair before spinning to withdraw his wand, necklace and a large leather bound book from the bedside table. Alecks never truly understood the connection between himself and reading, sure it had first started when he was little as a way to distract himself from the isolation of his family, yet even at hogwarts it had continued. In fact, it was incredibly uncommon to catch Alecks without a book either pressed under his nose or clutched tightly in his fingers. With a small smile he slipped silently from the room of his slumbering classmates, down the long spiral staircase and into the completely abandoned common room. As he crossed in complete silence he he let his eyes wander from chair to chair, ensuring that he was indeed alone. He knew perfectly well that he was entitled to leave the common room as he chose (at this time) yet he still preferred not having to discuss his reasoning for such early morning strolls to his classmates.
Caught deep within his own thoughts Alecks paid no attention to where his legs were taking him as he strode from the Ravenclaw common room, down the countless flights of stairs or even as he trudged through the fine powdery layer of snow that covered the grounds. It wasn't until he found himself staring blankly into the depths of the murky blackness that was the lake he truly realised where he was. Honestly, he wasn't surprised. Since his first year this had been his favourite outdoor excursion, especially in the morning. It was peaceful, quiet, and strangely beautiful; even if it was exceptionally cold in the current circumstances. He pulled his winter robes tighter around himself, collapsing against the familiar oak tree that stood at the far end of the lake, his attention turning to the large potion book he had brought with him.
