There are no happy stories. Only those of triumph, only those of fighters and winners, but there are no truely happy stories. In the middle of a war, nothing is set in stone, no one is sure to live and die of old age. No one even knows if they will live to tomorrow. Werewolves are trying their best to blend into society, unsure of if they'll be found out and lose everything the second they make the tiniest slip up. Muggleborns are slowly finding their way into hiding, because as Voldemort's power begins to increase and as the Ministry weakens, they begin also to lose their protection.
Towns are crumbling under the Dark Lord's reign, the Order of the Pheonix is losing it's power, emotions are causing a turmoil and so much is lost. Lovers, sisters, husbands, entire families are being wiped from the face of the earth.
In the time of the Marauders, Hogwarts is the one place that remains a safe house for it's students. Drama can unravel, relationships can build or they can fall apart, even the students aren't totally unaffected by a darkening world.
There are no truely happy stories. What matters the most is not who is right or wrong, but who has power and who doesn't. Who will bow to Lord Voldemort, and who will stand to fight for what they believe in? For those who choose to rebel, the only thing they have on their side is Love and Luck.
