Height: 5'6"
Weight: 114 lbs
Distinguishing Features(if any): None

Overall appearance:
Claire Avery is slightly taller than most girls her age, but not drastically so. She's of average weight, with a slender build, toned by years of playing Quidditch with her siblings at first, and more recently in the Slythering Quidditch team.
She tends to leave her hair down in wavy locks, or slightly curled at times, although there are occasions when she straightens it out completely, but those are kind of rare. She also likes to add some colour into her hair every now and then, so it wouldn't be surprising if she added some pink, or blue strands here and there.
There is no specific way to really describe Claire's attire; usually she likes to dress it up, but the next day she'll be wearing jeans and a t-shirt, so it's not a premanent thing. She does, however, despise the traditional wizarding robes; getting through the school day requires some great mental effort on her part. She tends to keep up with the latest trends and fashions, and she has a slight obssession with buying new fancy dresses, even if she only gets to wear them occasionally.
Claire does not spend too much time doing her make-up. It's usually just some eye-liner, and the occasional gloss or chapstick. She does go all out for special occasions, however. As for accessories, Claire always has either some earrings on or at least a necklace, very often both. Other accessories aren't usually necessary for her, but she does add them in every now and then.

Patronus: Christmas when she was 4, when her father took the family to Wales to spend the holidays, and they found a group of tiny pixies in the forest nearby. Her patronus takes the form of a pixie. It is also the reason she was nicknamed Pixie, because she had spent that entire afternoon chasing the pixies.
Boggart: death. It manifests itself in cemetries and graves.
Dementor: getting the news of her father's death when she was 8
Amortentia:
Mint: she loves the freshness of it, plus, she has a slight candy-cane obssession
Japanese Cherry Blossoms: it's her favourite aroma. She tends to buy lots of products with the scent.....which is slightly difficult and costy, considering its exotic
Evergreen: it's the scent that dominates her home.
An unknown cologne: she's not sure what this is, but its one of the scents she recognizes when presented with amortentia

Overall Personality:
Claire is the type of girl who usually thinks a lot about everything, which, as great as it may sound, can sometimes be a bad thing, since it is not an 'on the spot' kind of thing. When in a situation, she probably wouldn't think too much of what she says or what happens right then and there, but once she's alone, she'll pick the situation apart and come up with a million assumptions and conclusions, things she should have done, or said, and sometimes, she goes way out of proportion in her conclusions.
Claire tends to be rather strong, and take on a lot before she finally cracks down. Her strength is usually due to the fact that she somehow got it in her head that her friends and family are all not as capable of being as strong as her, so she has to take everything for herself and them. However, she will only do this for a select few people; the rest, she couldn't give a damn about. In addition to that, you'll be hard-pressed to ever see Claire bending down to anyone's will. She will do what she wants, and she won't care if you say otherwise, whether you're her classmate, or her headmaster, which tends to have her frequenting the detention room quite a lot.
Claire is usually very outgoing and loves to have fun as much as she can. It's very rare when you find her doing her homework or actually studying or something of the sort, and when she does do it, she complains about it all the way through. She enjoys a good party, and a chance to let it all go and just have crazy wild fun. The only problem here is that she also tends to be very opinionated, and sometimes unfair, so she's not exactly very popular in the 'she's the best; let's all be her friend' type of way. However, she tends to socialize with everyone and anyone, which annoys quite a number of Slytherins. Does she care? Not really, although at times, she is a little bit self-conscious.
Claire is also quite the flirt, and that does not change with her relationship status; she could be dating someone, and yet she'll still enjoy flirting with the guy's friends or any other person really. Claire loves flirting with and meeting hot guys, or really, any half-decent guy. She has a way of charming the male species, and she usually manages to get her way with them, except for the occasional tough cookie.
Claire Avery knows who she is, and she is not willing to change that for anything or anyone. It's a take it or leave it kind of deal with her. If you don't like what you see, then basically, Claire doesnt care. This is who she is, and yeah, she really doesnt care if you like it or not. However, in the occasional situation where she needs to act or pretend to get something that she really wants, she will do it. But once she has that that she wants, its game over and her true colors show.
To those who don't know her, or those she dislikes, Claire can be a total b!tch. She tends to be cold and mean with people she doesnt know, until she's convinced that maybe they can be her friends or people she can at least get along with, which aren't that many, really. To those whom she hates/dislikes/has issues with for whatever reason, she'll be totally mean, and maybe sometimes go overboard with it.
Also, Claire can be verrryyy sneaky when she wants to or when she needs to. She tends not to want getting things the easy way, especially if she thinks it might hurt her pride or something like that. Thus, she resorts to sneaking her way to whatever she wants and making people basically do her dirty work for her.
Claire tends to have high goals and expectations, and she has the ambition and determination to help her get there, usually. At times, however, she simply loses interest in things quite often. If she doesnt, she will do her best and whatever it takes to achieve her goals. But, as stated, whatever it is that she's trying to accomplich has to completely captivate her, or otherwise she'll simply get bored.

Father: Marcus Avery, 39, thought to be deceased
Mother: Victoria Avery (nee Devereaux), 39
Brother: Damian Avery, 18, Slytherin
Sister: Marissa Avery, 14, Hufflepuff
Pets: she just got a cute brown and white kitten named Miss V.
Residence: Lockwood Mansion, in Warwickshire, Arden, England
History:
Claire Rose Avery was the 2nd child and first daughter of Victoria and Marcus Avery. The Avery's are a wealthy pureblooded family, that is quite high up the aristocratic ladder, however, Mrs. Avery wasn't always one of the lucky ones. In fact, if the clocks are turned back, say twenty something years ago, Mrs. Victoria Avery would have been a nobody, or at least, she would not be considered as the influential, pureblood lady she is now.
Victoria came from a pureblooded family, that's alright, but not a very wealthy one. In fact, the Devereaux's were in a pretty miserable state. With a large family of seven -including the father (mother died from dragon pox)- Mr. Devereaux struggled to make ends meet and provide for all his children, who were all under the age of 14. Victoria was the middle child, and, in addition to the poverty, she always felt as if she wasn't getting enough attention. Well, things were not going to get any better, come her seventh birthday. Her father, while out in Muggle London, was in a car accident. Of course, an accident wouldn't kill a wizard, however, it appeared that certain Muggle drugs and medicines did. As the Muggle Paramedics attempted to save him, Mr. Devereaux died, leaving his six children with nothing and no one to take care of them. The Ministry was forced to send the whole lot to an orphanage, and over the next five years, three of them were adopted by wizarding families, one graduated Hogwarts, and the other two, Victoria and her older brother, began Hogwarts. At Hogwarts, young Miss Devereaux found a better home in the house of the Snakes, and eventually, an escape route out of her miserable life in the form of Marcus Avery. It made sense for those two to get together, really; they were both so mean, unpleasant, and haughty, that really, no one else could stand to be with them but one another. But somehow, with all that negativity, the two were in love.
Two years out of Hogwarts, and the two were married. The young Avery family was pretty well-off. Marcus had quite a large fortune, and Victoria had the haughty-ness and will power to make sure they rose to be a pretty well-known family. The couple was ecstatic to have a son on the first try, and even more proud when, after Claire's birth by a year, they had twins, Michael and Marissa. Their children were perfect in their eyes.......at least when they were young.
Young Claire was very attached to her father, and she was much more like him than she was her mother. Marcus found his little daughter rather amusing and saw in her a possible 'mini-him' in a female's body. The family was pretty happy for several years, even after the Dark Lord's fall. Marcus managed to get away from being sentenced to Azkaban by hiding under the 'I was forced' excuse. However, the peace wouldn't last for the family.
Seven years after the fall of Voldemort, evidence showed up that convicted Marcus Avery of being a Death Eater by will. Seeing no way out of this predicament, Marcus and Victoria decided it was best if he run away for a while, hide out until they could figure out what to do. The family would never see him again. Five months after Marcus left, news reached the Avery's that his body was found off the coast of France. The family was devastated, but through Victoria's feirce need to always be on top, they managed to get through the ordeal.
However, Victoria's constant thirst to be powerful and influential put a distance between her and the kids. Claire in particular never really got along with her mother. They were constantly at opposite ends, especially since Claire was just as stubborn as her father, and would never give in to her mother's will. She didn't want to be an example of the perfect daughter, she didnt want to wear those stupid dress robes her mother was so fond of, she didnt want to be nice to people just because they were children of her mother's 'friends'. Nope, she wanted to sing, she wanted to add crazy colour to her hair, and most of all, she wanted to annoy her mother as much as she could.
Claire's first year at Hogwarts went by quite smoothly; she knew a fair number of students in her year, as well as some of her brother's older friends. Plus, she had some 'family friends' with her as wll, in the form of Draco Malfoy. The two of them, along with Marissa and Damien Avery, and Draco's older sister, Delinda, were often thrown together ever since they were just babies. Narcissa and Victoria were 'friends'......or something like that, Claire really didn't get it, because the two women were always trying to be better, but they still pretended like they were best buds. At any rate, Claire had often found herself in the company of Delinda and Draco Malfoy. While Claire and Delinda often clashed quite badly, she and Draco got along......to an extent. The two enjoyed tormenting and teasing each other, but it wasnt the same as the distaste and clear dislike Claire and Delinda had for each other. One could say they were playful freniemies. Claire was sorted into Slytherin, and so she and Malfoy remained in contact, and got a little closer even. However, Claire found herself often clashing with other girls in her year. Many of them were too much of a reminder of Victoria for Claire to get along with them. She found herself being able to get along with the guys in her year much easier than with the little wannabe Snake Princesses. SHe just didn't get what exactly that was anyway. Who wanted to be a princess these days?! Unfortunately, Claire's preference for male friends annoyed Victoria, not that Claire cared very much. In fact, she kind of enjoyed tormenting her mother that way.
The rest of her years were rather normal, until early in the summer after fourth year. The Avery's were entertaining several friends and family, among them a Swedish pureblood guest, and his family. Despite having tried to get out of the occasion, Claire was stuck there. Her grumpy attitude vanished, however, when, while leaving, upon seeing a picture of Marcus Avery, the guest stopped, and commented on how he knew a man that looked almost exactly like him. Everyone seemed to take it as a funny coincidence, but, being the analytic freak she was, Claire was convinced, after spending the entire night awake, that her father was alive, and that she was going to find him. Currently, this is what occupies her mind.
What Claire and her siblings are unaware of, though, is that their mother, Victoria, knows that her husband is alive. In fact, she's known for quite a while, and has been keeping it a secret. Marcus and Victoria both know that for him to return to his family would either end with him going to Azkaban or facing the consequences of pretending to have nothing to do with the Dark Lord. Both were rather unpleasant outcomes. So Victoria brushed aside Claire's 'what if's' and tried to encourage her siblings to see their sister's word as delusions too. Michael, however, wasn't so sure. He's on the fence about the situation, and Clsire is planning to win him over to her side, whatever it takes.
Her new goal, however, was slightly disrupted by some new developments in her friendships. At a dinner party, Claire was completely disregarded by Draco, who acted pretty much as if she was someone inferior, and not someone he'd known since, well, forever. It didnt bother her too much, but by the start of 5th year, Claire got the message loud and clear. For reasons that still baffle her, she was no longer even an acquaintance of Draco Malfoy; in fact, he almost treated her the same way she'd seen him treat Weasley and Potter. Being the stubborn girl she was, Claire decided to pretend like nothing was happening, and instead focused all her efforts into proving that her father was still alive. Her siblings, Damian and Marissa, believed that she was delusional, but it did not deter her in the least. She was going to prove everyone wrong, and she wasn't giving up anytime soon. In fact, she is optimistic that this new revelation about the Dark Lord's return will help her prove her point; her father always was a fanatic Death Eater. He was bound to get lured back to Britain by these new turns of events. And if not, well, she'd follow him to wherever he is and bring him back.

Sometimes, Rose wished that little voice in the back of her head would just shut up and leave her alone. But of course, it never does; in fact, it becomes even more insistent. It has been a little over a month since she's been home, meaning both at the Mansion and Ethan's villa. Ever since she found out about Reine's illness, she had unofficially moved to live with her. There were so many years that she didn't get to spend with her real mother, s many memories and experiences that they didnt get the chance to share. She hadn't wanted to waste any more time than necessary. Unfortunately, that meant that this time, she actually got to witness a parent's dying moments. When Nicolas had died six years ago, Rose hadn't been there; she'd always wondered if it would have been worse or better to know it was coming. Well, now she knew; it was just as bad, and it hurt so much anyways.
Rosaline sighed, as she pushed her hair away from her face and entered Acromantula & Snitch. As she was planning to finally move back to Ethan's place, she figured she owed both her uncle and her cousin some major bribe so that they didnt grill her about her abscence. She knew her uncle was worried sick; there was a stack of unanswered letters in her room at Reine's place. And Ryan! She had missed his birthday party, an unforgivable mistake in the boy's books. However, as she looked around the store, she knew that there was plenty of gifts that could buy her a way to forgiveness. And the same kind of went for Ethan; Rose knew her uncle couldnt resist Quidditch, no matter how much he claimed otherwise.
But there was just so many things! Yeah, Rose was a Quidditch player and fan, but she was too much of a girl to know anything other than the fact that her broom -which conveniently, Ethan helped her buy- was all she needed to play the game. She knew next to nothing about all the different features and additional equipment and stuff. Sighing, as she stared at several different broom-kits that all looked the same to her- Rose looked around to find someone to help her out, and noticed a guy standing a small distance away from her. She couldnt see the front of him to see if he worked here or not, but she didn't really care. Lightly, she tapped his shoulder, asking, "Hi, sorry to bother you, but I was just wondering if you had any idea at all what would be a great gift for an 8-years old boy?"
