Distinguishing Features(if any): nothing remarkable.
Play-by: Amanda Seyfried
Overall appearance:
Arianna's appearance isn't very remarkable, but in a way, it is what sets her apart from others. She is rather short for a woman of her age, but her weight is proportianate to her height, as in, she's kind of light. Her hair is long and falls down in waves that really bother Ari. She would make it straight everyday, if she had the time, but unfortunately, she doesn't.
Her style is really what catches people's attention. She dresses in what one would call a very formal way. She's very preppy, and she doen't really like trying out crazy styles or really bright colours or anything that would put her outside of her comfort zone. Mostly, she could be seen wearing a nice, pastel coloured sun dress, or a plain blouse and jeans. She isn't very big on jewelry and make up. She tends to keep it simple with regards to those.

Patronus: the day she recieved her Hogwarts letter and escaped the tiring life at home. It takes the form of a swan.
Boggart: to let down the the people she loves and have them leave her. It manifests itself in the form of her parents, her siblings, and basically everyone she holds dear telling her what a screw-up she is and abandoning her because of it.
Dementor: when she was around 8 or 9, when her father had consumed more alcohol than he ever did before, and, after a loud, angry yelling match with her mother, he attempted to hit her, but instead he passed out. At first, the family thought he simply passed out, but things turned nasty. They almost lost him, and the memory of it stands out in Arianna's mind like no other.
Amortentia: ocean breeze, books, strawberries, rain, coconut

Overall Personality:
Arianna can be described in three words: selfless, neat-freak, and strong. She tends to put everyone else's needs above her own, and while it may be a very honourably quality, it rakes quite a toll on her. She would literally take a bullet for someone she does not know at all, or heck, even someone she dislikes. She has this idea in her head that everyone out there needs her to do everything for them, and take care of them. This is mostly due to the fact that through most of her childhood and teenage years, Arianna had to take care of her family, from her parents, to her younger siblings, even sometimes her drug-addicted aunt. The habit, however, became something she did with practically all her friends and people she knew. In a way, her selflessness makes her perfect for her job; she excels in being a healer, even at such a young age.
Arianna is also a bit of a neat-freak, and she tends to have OCD-like qualities. She likes having everything in order, and to her, everything has its place. If something is out of place, it will bother her very much, and she used to be unable to restrain herself from fixing whatever was wrong. Lately, though, she has better control over this quality; she wouldn't try to arrange and organize someone else's belongings, but if you enter her office, room, or even recently, the Hospital Wing at Hogwarts, everything is beyond immaculate. This also transfers to her life; Arianna has difficulty doing things without planning them beforehands. When she first started out as a trainee healer, she had quite a lot of trouble dealing with emergency situations, but eventually, she managed to convince herself that this was within the plan. You would have to be very persuasive to convince Arianna to do something out of the blue, and even if you do, she would probably be very nervous and tense until it's over.
Arianna is also incredibly strong. She can take on so many bruises and so much pain, and come back strong, but as a result, she hardly ever trusts anyone. In fact, she barely trusts herself. But she tries to be strong for everyone else she loves in her life, from her family to her friends to her boyfriend. She also doesn't really focus on her own problems, even when people hurt her, she tries to drown herself with other people's issues to avoid that. However, Arianna is a human being, and every now and then, the pressure and responsibility becomes too much, and you could find her locked in her room for an entire day, crying her eyes out, but she would never let anyone witness those moments. She fears people wouldn't care for her the way they do now if she isn't always strong and held together.

Liam Fox, brother, 23, wizard

James Fox, brother, 14, wizard

Residence: No. 14 Clarion's Lane
History:
Arianna Isabelle is the first daughter and second child to Derek Fox and Charlotte James. She was born two years after her older brother, and has three younger siblings, Jordana, James, and Layla. Her mother is a muggle, and her father is a halfblood. The two met a long time ago in a concert, and one thing led to another. Before they knew it, Charlotte was pregnant with Liam, and the two of them had to quickly get married before her parents found out, as they were strict catholics who would probably have thrown her out had they discovered she was pregnant before marrying Derek. Charlotte had no idea that Derek was a wizard until the day she went into labor. In fact, the news was kind of the reason she was shocked enough to go to labor. After that, it took her a while to get used to the idea that there was a very good possibility that all her children were going to be wizards like Derek.
The family of four -after Arianna was born- lived a pretty good life, until Derek lost his job at Gringotts because he was a halfblood. Slowly, he was growing frustrated with working as a Muggle, and he couldn't keep a job; it got so bad that Charlotte had to take more shifts at her job, making her rarily ever available for the family. Arianna was too young then to really figure out what was happening, but after her father took up drinking, and was now unable to get a job even though the first war against voldemort was over, she began noticing something was up. By the time Arianna was seven, her mother had had two other kids. Liam and Arianna basically raised their siblings, since their father was too busy getting wasted, and their mother was always working. It all hit a peak when Derek had one too many drinks one night, and began yelling at everyone, fighting with Charlotte, breaking things left and right. He even slapped her hard enough to knock her off her feet, but almost right after he did that, the man fell over, losing consciousness. Liam and his mother managed to drag him to St. Mungo's, since Liam was a wizard. There, they were fortunately able to save Derek's life. But the memory was forever burned in all three of Liam, Charlotte, and Arianna's mind. Charlotte filed for a divorce a month later, after Derek recovered.
After that, both Charlotte and Derek fell into depression, and the family rarely ever spoke to Derek. Arianna, however, couldn't bring herself to cut her father out of her life completely. She visited him frequently, tried to help him. Liam kind of hated his father, and even her younger siblings, Jordana and James, weren't too keen on staying in touch with their father. Charlotte oftem tried to get Arianna to see that her father would never leave his drugs and drinking habits, but the girl firmly believed that he could.
However, Derek didn't. In fact, once more, when Ari was sixteen, he mixed too many drinks with one too many unknown pills, and fell in a coma. If it weren't for Arianna coincidentally visiting that day, her father wouldn't have made it. After he woke up two days later, she had already gotten him a room in St. Mungo's premanent wards, where they could help him with his addiction.
Meanwhile, Arianna had gone to Hogwarts, and, due to her passionate love of learning and gaining knowledge, she was sorted into Ravenclaw. She had quite a fair number of friends, but she was never very popular, and unfortunately, by the time she had gotten out of Hogwarts, she had gotten her heart broken one too many times.
At home, things weren't that much better. Charlotte, her mother, was still working hard to make sure her kids were well taken care of, and as such, she didn't have much time for them aside from providing them with the bare necessities. Arianna became a mother, a sister, and a friend to her younger siblings, however, she never truly got through to Liam, her older brother. He had graduated Hogwarts, and was quite the rebel; he was everything that Arianna wasn't. He was loud, slightly obnoxious, kind of carefree, but quite bitter. He tries to help out with his family, but that is only financially.
During seventh year, Arianna was to meet someone who would eventually become the only boyfriend she truly ever cared for and actually kind of trusted. Jacob Ryans. Jacob was a Quidditch player, and he was rising in popularity. He and Arianna met in a game that her younger brother had insisted they go to. Closed off as she is, Arianna resisted his constant efforts to try and get her to go out with him, but eventually, she gave him a shot. Things worked out very well, but it was mainly because Arianna didn't demand much attention. In fact, Jacob was kind of always focusing on himself, his career, his looks, that he barely ever paid attention to Arianna. However, he was the first guy that didn't simply try to use Ari and leave her, and so, she has convinced herself that she's in love with him, even though deep down, she knows she isn't, and that he's just another good friend she cares for very much. She may love him, but she's not in love with him.
After graduation, Arianna began working at St. Mungo's. Being a Healer was something she actually excelled, but the only downside to working in Mungo's was that she was still living with her family. The pressure and everything she has tried to bury in the back of her mind was becoming too much for her, so when she saw that there was an opening at Hogwarts for the Assistant Healer spot, Arianna had wasted no time applying, and was soon hired. She started this September, and indeed, the break from her home life was kind of giving her a breather.
