Scott is a very straight forward type of person, he doesn't hesitate to tell people what is crossing his mind. Especially when someone annoys him. While Scott isn't the best with insults, and usually comes off to people as socially awkward. He doesn't really understand the way that the world works around him, he is always curious about things that seem out of place for him. Scott is always questioning something.
When it comes to matters of the heart, Scott is never very well with expressing sentiments. When someone tries to flirt with him, all he's ever really capable of doing is stuttering and blushing. He's not good with beginning relationships, but yet Georg Rilow found something in him worth loving. Scott is very insecure about himself and how the world views him. The only thing he has ever been confident about is his singing.

Scott Lakeman was born in the middle of Scotland to the traditional, happy family. He grew up in this same establishment. His family never encountered any true issues, his parents were happy and he actually got along seemingly well with his older brother, Robbie. When he started Hogwarts, he followed what could be considered the Lakeman Legacy and was sorted into Ravenclaw. But while he never really struggled with his school, Scott's first love was always music. From the day in the owlry when he picked up a guitar that he'd learned to play when he was younger, he couldn't get enough.
Scott met Georg in his 5th year, the Gryffindor was nothing but a bundle of energy and joy, and he found that he fell in love rather quickly. It was a struggle, with Georg having just come out about his own sexuality and all of that, but it was totally worth it. When the two graduated they moved in together, Georg received the job of his dreams with the Daily Prophet and Scott buckled down to start working on his music, performing at the occasional nightclub.
One morning he woke up, and nothing felt all that different. He kissed his beautiful, naked boyfriend's nose and got ready for the day. It was very early in the morning, the sun was just beginning to rise, but he had to get to Sound Check by 7 so he didn't really have much choice.
Scott barely made it two blocks down the road when he was attacked. The whole thing is quite a blur, there were kicks to his groin and his stomach, his nose was snapped, eyes swollen, and eventually he was stabbed and mutilated 36 times. Scott was left to bleed slowly to death in the back of that dark alley, thinking only of Georg. Darling, sweet Georg who was going to be waiting for him to get home that night so that they could celebrate their anniversary.
They say that no one really understands why some come back as ghosts and some don't. Well, Scott did. Only, he doesn't quite remember that he even died. He's lost, stuck between the two worlds. To the select few who can see him, Scott appears as flesh and blood. To him, he feels just the same as he did that morning when he kissed Georg's nose and headed out the door.
