Overall appearance: Elena is a short, small girl who isn’t overflowing with curves but certainly does have enough to get by with. Her long brown hair falls naturally in big, lose waves over her shoulders and down her back, but generally she wears it straight or in a ponytail. She carries herself with an air of confidence, pride, and trouble-some fearlessness that makes her look a whole lot ‘bigger and badder’ than she really is, if you’ll pardon my creation of a word.
The clothing Elena wears varies, particularly because her parents’ aren’t the wealthiest on the block, but they aren’t the worst off either. Her clothes for each season vary in quality by how the family business was going home in Brighton and what they could afford. Generally, she opts for Dressy-casual, favouring anything vintage over most anything else, but she will occasionally toss it up with an edgy or just full blown casual look. Her face often sports a big smile and bright eyes, though she’s not fond of her ‘over-zealous’ (as she likes to call it) nose who’s mission seems to be to detract from her outer beauty with its (in her opinion) colossal size, though no one else really seems to notice.

Patronus: It was the most fun time of her life. In her third year, she stole from Professor Snape’s stores and spilt flobberworm mucus on his head from a balcony two stories up. As much trouble as she got in, it was entirely worth it. Her patronus is a raccoon, mischievous, though intellectual.
Boggart: Losing or Losing Control. While it may seem superficial, Elena is very much an authoritarian, and needs to be in control at all times.
Dementor: Spending the summer alone in their summer home in the middle of nowhere, simply because her parents were going out of town and needed someone to watch the unholy amount of pets they had. Considering it was free to use Elena, she was elected the person in charge.

Overall Personality: While it seems like it would be easy to get along with innocent-faced Elena, anyone who would assume such a thing would be dead wrong. In order to get along with her, you would have to learn to push aside her fearlessness, judgments, and her incessant need to be heard and in control in order to even like her. You can imagine she doesn’t get many dates. However, anyone who gets through to her will see the most redeeming qualities of a Gryffindor heart. Determination and chivalry, unwavering from the tasks at hand.
While sometimes aggravating, her consistency and thorough approach towards all things have given her great success so far in her life. Her grades are fairly constant, not the highest, nor the lowest. Elena puts enough effort into her schooling to know that she’s making the choices now that will ensure the most highly regarded jobs later on, which she is desperate for. If she could, she’d love to become Mistress of Magic one day, just so everyone would absolutely have to respect her and follow her decrees. In the same sense though, she is fairly aware of these major flaws and is constantly in the process of correcting them.
Despite her judgmental nature, once befriended Elena is somewhat hard to let go of. She’s exceptionally intuitive and while she’s not so good with advice all the time, she’ll certainly be the first one to try and cheer you up if something’s wrong. She’s not the type to talk behind anyone’s back, either, so don’t worry. If she doesn’t like you, you’ll know…trust me.

History: When Elena was born, her family was small and quiet, living in the Italian wine country with horses and cows and chickens. It wasn’t long, however, until her parents had their third child and picked up to move to England to pursue a pointless dream they’d been keeping – the running and ownership of a Laundromat. Never in her life would Elena Luciano understand how something so remedial could pull the farming family from their peaceful Italian sanctuary.
As she grew, so did the confusion brought on by her changing family. As little as she liked to admit to it, Elena was always kind of jealous of her older brother Rocky, who was the first magical-person in the family. He kind of stole the shine away when she got her acceptance letter, however, with a close knit family like the Luciano’s had, no hard feelings were ever really held. It was nice having such a consistent upbringing, and life in their small home was always fair. If you were rewarded, you deserved it, just like if you were punished you deserved it. There was really no room for complaints.
When Elena started at Hogwarts, she was sorted into Gryffindor before the sorting hat touched her head. Professor McGonagall said that for someone with as strong and assertive a personality as she had, there was no place to put her except the Loyal house of Gryffindor. She studied hard enough to pass, and she pushed herself into the social circle, though it took a bit of trial and error to find the people who could tolerate her pushy and opinionated personality.
