Kauno (pronounced Khan-o) Masterson is a hard hearted bastard, he's unforgiving and ruthless in his professional and personal life. A former Slytherin, he's cunning and quick witted, most of his jokes come off as insults. He's a smooth talker, good at charming women into one night stands. These traits serve him well as a Death Eater.
When you get down to it Kauno is a hard working, stubborn guy. He's hard because he wants to be, ruthless because he has to be, and fears showing weakness and making a true commitment above all else. He's fascinated by moth's and butterfly's wings and has an incredibly secret soft spot for kittens. I'm not saying a kitten is an appropriate shield when fighting him but he might scoop it up and adopt it after he kills you.

Born and raised in Owford England, Kauno Masterson is a second generation Death Eater. His father was one the first time around and since Voldemort's return has proven to be of little importance. Kauno became a Death Eater in his father's place when death came knocking. His mother was never a Death Eater, though she sympathizes with their beliefs. She was a housewife and trophy wife, a ditzy blonde in every sense of the words.
Kauno graduated Hogwarts as a Slytherin and 7th year Prefect for his house, a Chaser on the quidditch team for 3 years. Then he joined up with the Ministry, working his way to becoming the head Obliviator in the Department of Magical Mishaps and Catastrophies. He joined Voldemort shortly after his regain of power and has been working to please him ever since, though he always looks out for himself first. Voldemort is his lord and master now, but Kauno doesn't see himself being reigned over his entire life. He hopes to one day become the Minister of Magic, this is only a stepping stone on his way there.
